Economic Development In Santa Clarita
One of the most important things a Councilmember has to do is help provide jobs for our community. We partner with the Economic Development Corporation to bring companies such as Sunkist here to Santa Clarita. It’s not easy, but we have a great story to sell.
Santa Clarita’s one of the safest communities in the whole state of California. It’s one of the best fiscally-run cities in the whole state of California. It’s one of the most business-friendly cities in the state of California. That’s what it takes to attract companies such as Sunkist or Scorpion or Princess Cruises – all companies that we have worked to help bring here to Santa Clarita.
What does that mean to you? It means jobs, jobs, jobs. Good paying jobs, very good paying jobs in many cases. It also means more time to spend with your families here in Santa Clarita. More time to enjoy the parks, the open spaces, the trails. I want to help you get jobs here in Santa Clarita. I want to keep you off those freeways.
After public safety, my number one thing is economic development. As your Councilmember and ex corporate employee and executive myself, I promise you, I will never stop working to get you the best paying jobs we can get.
I want to continue my relationship with you on the city council. I need your support. This election is important to all of us. We need economic development. We need to help small businesses. We need to help large businesses. We need to create better paying jobs here in Santa Clarita. But I need your help. Vote for me, Bill Miranda, on November 6th.
Local Business In Santa Clarita
I want to talk about a subject that’s near and dear to my heart – small businesses. Large businesses are important, they hire a lot of people, but the majority of large business revenue leaves our city. Small business revenue generally stays here.
I support small business because I know that small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy. I know that small businesses generate the revenue necessary to pay for parks, to pay for the arts, to pay for playgrounds.
Santa Clarita is a great place for small businesses to get started. We make it easy for you. We make it easy because we don’t have business licenses. Plus, we support small businesses. We help you get started.
I want to continue to help businesses here in Santa Clarita but I need your help. Vote for me, Bill Miranda, on November 6th.
Positive Business Relationships
Building positive business relationships are key to attracting good-paying jobs to our community. Not only will the businesses that are already here help us attract other corporations and more better-paying jobs, but for the businesses that are here, we want to maintain them. We want to keep them here. And one of the ways we keep them here is by building positive business relationships with them.
One of the great benefits of having these businesses is that they supply a lot of funds for the many non-profits we have here in our community. Those non-profits need those funds to help the people they help and I’m here to support them in every way I can.
Building positive business relationships is also important to small businesses. That’s why we have the Valley Industry Association, the Chamber of Commerce, and many networking groups to help build those relationships throughout the small business community.
Whether you’re a small business or a large corporation, we help you build relationships – good, positive relationships, here in Santa Clarita. As a Councilmember, I work hard to help you build those relationships.
I want to continue my relationship with you on the City Council. I need your support. This election is important to all of us. We need economic development, we need to help small businesses, we need to help large businesses, we need to create better-paying jobs here in Santa Clarita. I need your help. Vote for me on November 6th.
